I’m pretty excited for USA Network’s ‘Covert Affairs.’ What’s the good word? – Bob
The word is the spy series (starring Piper Perabo and Christopher Gorham) looks like a lot of fun and should complement the USA slate nicely. Add to that the fact that Emmanuelle Vaugier has been cast in a recurring role, while Oded Fehr is set to guest star on the July 13 premiere, and I smell win-win-win.

Covert Affairs trailer:

Also, apparently CBS is airing the episode of Three Rivers with Oded June 26th at 8pm est and he’s also in the July 3rd episode.

Thanks to Lady Elaina for these news!

From Oded’s management: http://rainmanagementgroup.com/buzz/archives/304

Our client Oded Fehr, co-star of such projects as the blockbuster The Mummy franchise, Resident Evil franchise, and critically adored Showtime series Sleeper Cell, will be bringing his considerable dramatic acting chops to a recurring role on CBS’ Three Rivers. The freshman CBS series Three Rivers is about the lives of organ donors, the doctors, and recipients of the organs at a preeminent transplant hospital in Pittsburgh. The series was created by Carol Barbee (Swingtown, Jericho) and stars Alex O’Loughlin (The Shield) as famous transplant surgeon Dr. Andy Yablonski.

2009′s “Missing in Action” Horror Checklist

by Ryan Rotten.

THE STORY Neal Marshall Stevens (Thirteen Ghosts) takes vehicular terror in a new direction with what could best be described as H.R. Giger meets Christine. When members of a Chicago police department (Shannon Beckner and Resident Evil‘s Oded Fehr) impound a car they get more than they bargained for. Said “hell on wheels” is actually an organic being, a creature that has survived history transforming into various predators. For the modern age, it takes the guise of hot cars. Unfortunately, this thing doesn’t like being trapped in the department’s garage and it wants out. Crazy, right? Well here’s the proof this film exists – watch a promo trailer.

WHAT GIVES? Director Eric Valette shot the film in 2008 after the disastrous One Missed Called, perhaps in an effort to wash the bad taste out of his mouth. (Seriously, I’ll take a Giger-inspired pissed off Wacky Races car over Ed Burns chasing down a cell phone-hopping ghost any day.) At the beginning of this year, Voltage Pictures premiered a preview via their website.

So now what? Voltage is currently looking for a distributor. To be honest, theatrical sounds unlikely.
