Drool is about an abused woman, Anora, who befriends an African American neighbor, Imogene. Their relationship crosses over the friendship line into romance and when the louse of a husband discovers them, he tries to kill them both. However, the tables are turned when Anora - quite by accident - kills him. The remaining family then toss daddy in the trunk of Imogene’s “Kathy K. Kosmetics” car and drives him to Savannah to be buried. It’s a dark comedy. Oded Fehr plays “Cheb”, the abusive husband. (Source, IMBD)

Hybrid aka Hunter
HOLLYWOOD — Voltage Pictures has acquired foreign rights to Stallion Media’s horror pic “Hybrid,” directed by Eric Valette (”One Missed Call”).Oded Fehr and Shannon Beckner topline the pic about a female mechanic in a Chicago police garage who spends a night of terror with a hybrid car.Stallion Media partners Oliver Hengst and Elizabeth Wang-Lee are producing with Kevin DeWalt of Minds Eye Entertainment and Tim Kwok of Convergence Entertainment. Alex Leung (Studio 407), Tim McGrath (Picture Park) and Christian Arnold-Beutel (Tadora) will exec produce.Pic’s budgeted at more than $10 million. Shooting will begin this week around Regina, Saskatchewan.
“Hybrid” is written by Neal Marshall Stevens (“Thirteen Ghosts”). Voltage, a partnership between Nicolas Chartier and producer Dean Devlin, is in post-production on its first in-house film, “The Hurt Locker,” directed by Kathryn Bigelow.
May 2008 - Apparently the movie has been renamed to Hunter.
